Baker Labels Donates Face Visors and Disposable Masks to Frontline Staff
In the battle with Covid-19 hospitals, hospices and care homes are struggling to maintain supplies of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for their front line staff. This could be due to logistics and restricted allocation from a central NHS hub or because their availability is at a premium that many cannot afford. Steve Baker has also been able to purchase 1000 re-usable clear face mask visors and 10000 disposable face masks that we have been distributing to local NHS and hospice facilities.
So far we have arranged the following:
- 300 clear visors to Brentwood Community Hospital
- 100 clear visors to Basildon Hospital
- 50 clear visors to Farleigh Hospice
- 25 clear visors and 500 disposable masks to Saint Francis Hospice
- 100 clear visors and 500 disposable masks to Havens Hospices
- 50 clear visors and 100 disposable masks to Brentwood BC Housing Dept
- 25 clear visors to the Brentwood Foodbank
If you know anywhere in Essex that is in need and has been unable to secure visors or disposable masks please contact us Kirsty.dailly@bakerlabels.co.uk
Thank you so very much you guys are awesome. My caretakers are desperate for PPE and we were struggling to get masks.
Huge thank you to Baker Labels for the donation of masks and visors. Our volunteers here collecting and delivering to sheltered accommodation across Brentwood and surrounding areas, are incredibly grateful. Thank you 😊 for helping us and others to keep safe.
A big thank you to you for donating the supplies of face shields to Farleigh Hospice – so very much appreciated by our clinical teams who are continuing to work. At Farleigh Hospice, we are committed to continue providing care to those with life limiting illnesses in mid-Essex and will continue to do so in their own homes during the the Covid 19 pandemic. We are also very aware that there will be even more people needing our services over the next few months and we have been preparing for this increase. Our aim is to keep our staff, volunteers and the people who use our services safe whilst continuing to provide much needed care for those who are at the end of their lives. Your thoughtfulness and your support at this time is so very much appreciated. Thank you.
