Bakers is Shortlisted for Printweek’s ‘Company of the Year’ Award!

We are thrilled to confirm that Bakers has been shortlisted for Company of the Year at the prestigious Printweek Awards 2025! As an independent, family-run business with over 50 years of expertise in the label and packaging industry, this recognition is a testament to our commitment to innovation, excellence, and community impact.

A Year of Growth and Innovation

Over the past 18 months, we have made significant strides in business expansion, investing in cutting-edge technology to enhance our capabilities. Our growth strategy has included the installation of two HP Indigo 200K digital presses and three Galaxy Packtech pouch converters. This has cemented BakPac’s position as a UK leader in digitally printed flexible packaging.
We also installed our first Durst Tau RSC 340 LED press, reinforcing our dedication to high-quality, sustainable label solutions. These advancements are part of a £5 million investment plan to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.

Bakers pushes boundaries through pioneering technology, sustainability initiatives, and support for industry talent. We actively contribute to the Brentwood Environmental Business Alliance (BEBA), have achieved FSC accreditation, and continue to reduce our carbon footprint through energy-efficient workflows and EV charging points.
Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. In 2023, we were honoured with the Label Industry Global Converter of the Year Award. We also received the Digital Printer Award for Closing the Skills Gap in 2024. Industry leaders have recognised our ongoing commitment to innovation, skills development, and excellence in print and packaging.
