We are looking for a motivated individual to join our busy material conversion facility.
Founded in 1973, Baker Labels is established as a UK leading trade label manufacturer. Our Materials division is a major supplier to label producers throughout the UK, with customers reliant on our fast turnaround and excellent service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking to hire an aditional forklift truck operator and warehouse operative to help us meet our production goals. The ideal candidate is a team player who’s willing to put in the work to ensure the high standards we have established are maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and sending goods daily using forklift truck
- Liaising with couriers and hauliers
- Loading slitting machines
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties
Applicant must be hard working, reliable and a team player. A forklift licence is essential.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of materials handling or warehouse environment
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties on a day to day basis
- Receptive to training and continuous improvement
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as be a good team player
- Attention to detail
- Methodical worker
