About the Role

As Despatch Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient despatch of orders across our multiple divisions: Baker Labels, BakPac, and Sportstiks. Acting as the first point of contact for all despatch queries, you’ll liaise with various teams to resolve issues, manage couriers, and keep customers informed.

This is a dynamic role, combining administration, customer service, and logistics expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing

Daily Despatch Operations:Manage the despatch process using Filemaker, ensure accurate records, and prepare customer paperwork.

Customer Communication: Provide exceptional service by addressing customer queries, updating on despatch progress, and resolving issues.

Courier Coordination: Book and monitor courier services, troubleshoot delays, and manage export paperwork.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on shipping regulations, particularly around exports and Brexit, and share insights with customers when needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

– Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

– Skilled at communicating across multiple channels.

– Customer-focused, with the ability to solve problems independently.

– Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about export regulations and paperwork.

Experience in a similar role is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important!
