“Dance and Dine” for senior citizens in Brentwood
Baker Labels has contributed to funding the “Dance and Dine” for senior citizens in Brentwood. Organised by Brentwood Borough Council, the project has been designed to improve older people’s physical fitness and emotional wellbeing.
We joined one of the groups at The Gables in Warley for an hour of gentle but enthusiastic dancing. The session was choreographed by Emma from the Dance Network Association and was perfectly tailored to encourage gentle movement, interaction with others and to stimulate the brain with some slightly more complicated hand and arm movements. The session finished with a very welcome lunch of fish and chips.
