We are seeking a talented and motivated person to fill our newly created Business Development role

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Lead Management:
• Track and manage all sales leads in Filemaker.
• Ensure timely follow-up with leads through emails, phone calls, and other communication channels.
• Update and maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects.

2. Follow-Up Coordination:
• Develop and implement follow-up schedules for new leads and existing clients.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure all follow-up tasks are completed.
• Schedule follow-up meetings, calls, and demos as needed in coordination with the team.

3. Communication:
• Draft and send personalised follow-up emails. Call clients where possible.
• Respond to inquiries from prospects and clients in a timely manner.
• Provide additional information or resources requested by new or existing customers.

4. Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate and analyse follow-up reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Monitor follow-up activities to ensure adherence to established timelines.
• Provide regular updates to the Commercial Manager on follow-up progress and outcomes.

5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and priorities.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure follow-up materials are current and effective.
• Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.

6. Customer Relationship Management:
• Maintain a high level of customer service with clients and prospects.
• Build and nurture relationships to create future sales opportunities.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by clients in a professional manner.

Hybrid Working

This is a full-time, office based role but for the right person with the right experience we would potentially consider a hybrid role to work remotely and on-site if you do not live local to Bakers.
