Baker Labels scoops the top prize at the Brentwood Business Awards 2019
We are delighted to have been crowned as Brentwood Business of the Year 2019 by sponsors Pinney Talfourd at the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce business awards on Friday 8th November at Orsett Hall. The top award was the icing on the cake having earlier been announced as winners in the Small to Medium Business by category sponsors Ignite Business Communications and finalists in the Employer of the Year category.
Since moving to Brentwood from Walthamstow in 2011, Baker Labels has seen a rapid growth in turnover, production, employee numbers. Further and continual investment in new presses and expanding the premises on Hubert Road have consolidated the growth and allowed us to look ahead and plan our next move into the production of digital flexible packaging from January 2020. It’s an exciting time at Bakers and being recognised as Brentwood’s Business of the Year is the icing on the cake.
The industrial estate we’re based in in Brentwood was near empty and derelict when we moved here whereas now it is bustling with activity. Business is growing all around us and we’re very proud to be part of it and the extended Brentwood business community. Steve Baker, Managing Director at Baker Labels
We’d like to thank all the judges, sponsors and organisers of the event and congratulate all the other winners and finalists who contributed to a fantastic evening of celebrations.
