Been there, done that, and proudly wearing the medal!
This Sunday, around 2000 runners took on the 13.1-mile challenge of the Bakers Brentwood Half Marathon. Over the years, this event has raised millions for charity, and its popularity has surged – this year’s race completely sold out! The atmosphere was electric: cheering crowds, energising music, dedicated volunteers getting their steps in, and determined runners pushing toward the finish line. It truly was an incredible day for everyone involved.
Our connection to this annual charity event goes back many years, but we have contributed as title sponsors since 2018. First through our athlete ID division, Sportstiks, until last year when the sponsorship baton was passed to Bakers. We’re immensely proud to be involved in a race that brings the community together and encourages every runner to cross the finish line.
Team Bakers: Running Strong!
Our 20 strong team of Bakers runners absolutely smashed it! For some this was their first time running this kind of distance, and we were very proud to see them all cross the finish line. Our volunteers were a massive support, offering much needed finish line refreshments, chocolate and big cheers to the runners.

It’s been a huge event for us every year and we love pitching up to support everyone taking part. Having a prime position near the finish line ensures we’re completely immersed in the event – feeling the buzz and giving out much needed recovery bars of chocolate to all finishers. So much work goes into organising this event and it’s fantastic to be there and see it all come together on the day.
Event Organisers
Huge credit to the Rotary Club of Brentwood à Becket, who have been the driving force behind the Brentwood Half Marathon since 1982. Their more recent collaboration with local charities, Saint Francis Hospice and Brentwood Theatre, alongside Brentwood Running Club ensures the event runs smoothly every year and will continue for years to come. We’ve enjoyed working alongside them in making this race such a huge success.
