Our first year as title sponsors.
In its 42nd annual celebration of charity and community spirit, the Brentwood Half Marathon received a significant boost with Baker Labels stepping in as the title sponsor.
Over the years, the Brentwood Half Marathon has been known for its charity giving, raising millions of pounds for local charities. We have been an integral part of this journey, actively participating for the past decade. Over the years we have not only entered teams of enthusiastic runners but also through our athlete ID division, Sportstiks, have supplied essential race bibs, and other printed products. Our dedication to the event was evident when we transitioned into the role of title sponsor, following five years from the support of Sportstiks.
Beyond financial support, we have had a dedicated team of volunteers who handed out water and treats to runners, offering much needed refreshments and encouragement throughout the race. Our involvement didn’t stop there, we also had 11 runners and every member of our running team achieved personal bests, crossing the finish line in impressive times and all under two hours and twenty minutes.
Other event organisers
We joined forces with Rotary Club of Brentwood à Becket, who have been key in organising the event since 1982, to further strengthen the events foundation. The collaborative effect extended in 2022 to include local charities such as Saint Francis Hospice, Brentwood Theatre and Brentwood Running Club, forming a great organising team dedicated to making the event a success.
How we helped
Our marketing team took charge of event promotion and social media management, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement. Meanwhile, our Sportstiks division played a pivotal role in logistics, providing essential race materials like race bibs, race packs and road closure letters, essential for the smooth execution of the event.
Adding to the excitement, we also organised a team of pacers, guiding participants towards their desired finish times. With ten experienced pacers, ranging from one hour thirty minutes to two hours thirty minutes, participants had the support they needed to achieve their goals.
As title sponsors, our partnership with the Brentwood Half Marathon signifies more than just sponsorship; it embodies a shared commitment to community, charity, and athletic excellence. As the event continues to grow and evolve, we will be back as title sponsors for next year’s race ensuring that every participant’s journey is memorable and rewarding.
